360 SOC and Chris Ichelson, CEO Honored as a 2025 MSP 501 Special Awards Winner in the Cybersecurity MSP of the Year Competition

October 12, 2025: 360 SOC was named a 2025 MSP 501 Cybersecurity MSP of the Year.

In today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity has transcended from being merely a technology offering to becoming the cornerstone of client trust and business continuity. The MSP 501 Cybersecurity MSP of the Year award stands as the channel’s most prestigious recognition for managed service providers who have not only embraced this critical responsibility but have fundamentally redefined what excellence in cybersecurity service delivery means.

“This elite recognition acknowledges the extraordinary few who have made the strategic decision to position cybersecurity at the core of their business model,” said Robert DeMarzo, VP Content, Informa Channels. “While over 80% of MSP 501 companies offer cybersecurity services, only a few qualified as finalists for this distinguished honor in 2025—a testament to the rigorous standards and specialized expertise required.”

The Cybersecurity MSP of the Year organizations have demonstrated the commitment to generate at least 25% of their total revenue from cybersecurity services and have invested in building and maintaining in-house Security Operations Centers (SOCs), representing significant financial and operational commitments.

“What truly distinguishes these cybersecurity leaders is their ability to transform complex security challenges into business enablement opportunities. Rather than positioning security as merely risk mitigation, these elite MSPs demonstrate how robust cybersecurity frameworks can become competitive advantages. They allow their clients to confidently pursue digital transformation initiatives, enter new markets, and build deeper customer relationships based on proven security credentials,” said David Raffo, MSP 501 Editor, who oversees the annual survey and awards competition.

The winners of this award have mastered the delicate balance between technical excellence and business acumen. They’ve built security operations that combine advanced threat intelligence, 24/7 monitoring capabilities, incident response expertise, and comprehensive compliance knowledge—all delivered through service models that align with their clients’ business objectives and risk tolerance.

The MSP 501 Special Awards are application-based for outstanding industry contribution by an organization or individual. The awards are voted on by a panel of judges who are industry leaders, including top global MSPs, industry analysts, and past winners. These award winners are judged for special accomplishments and achievements beyond just revenue and profit.

The 2025 Special Awards winners were honored Sept. 17 at the MSP 501 Gala at the MSP Summit in Orlando, Fla.

“What an incredible honor it is to be named the MSP 501 Cybersecurity MSP & MSSP of the year.  Our team has worked countlessly to deliver cybersecurity services, while staying ahead of the fast moving cyber landscape.  This award is to our customers, partners and most importantly our whole team and the hard work they put in day in and day out,” said Chris Ichelson, CEO, 360 SOC.
